The City Center is close!
The Amsterdam Amstel train station is on a five minute walk and metro and trains take you to the city center in an eight minute ride (departure: every five to ten minutes).
By bike it takes about 15 minutes to the city center; take the ‘Wibautstraat’.
Amsterdam East is a lively neighbourhood, with some of the newest bars and restaurants and the famous international ‘Dappermarket’ nearby, as well as the famous Zoo ‘Artis’.
